Happy Thursday friends!! So I am sure 85% (if not more) get the non-weekend blues. Am I right? Well, I am here to help you get that mid-week motivation! If you are anything like me, when you have a bad case of the not the weekend blues, your motivation goes right down the drain. I have included 5 tips to help pick you up out of your slump!
Tip # 1: Wake up Early.
Now, anyone that knows me personally is literally lol’ing right now. I am NOT a morning person. I am the complete opposite. If you ask anyone who works with me, there was a joke not to talk to me before 11 if they didn’t want their feelings hurt. (I promise I am not THAT bad…….). If you’re like me, getting out of bed is H-A-R-D! A trick I have tried is to set my alarm for 15 minutes earlier each week. I will be completely honest with you, sometimes it takes me two weeks to move my time up again. BUT progress! In just the extra time I have gained, I have been able to have quiet time with the Lord every morning, and make myself a bulletproof coffee to take to work! Let me throw an extra tip in here. GET. ENOUGH. SLEEP. Try to go to bed at a decent time. It makes the whole, getting up earlier thing a little easier. Trust me.
