let’s be outfit repeaters

versatile closet options

Who was a fan of Lizzie McGuire? My millennial is showing, but I am still waiting on my time to be “discovered” on a trip to Italy. When Kate dramatically informed every one that Lizzie was an “outfit” repeater, I am not going to lie.. I was offended. I wish I had the luxury of not being guilty of this offense, but we cannot all be Kate Sanders.

Literally, one of the first bloggers I “followed” back in the day, was Kendi from Kendi Everyday. I actually started blog back in 2009 after reading hers. Clearly that one was deleted and I started from scratch. If only I had just kept it up back then. ANYWAY. Kendi did this really cool thing she called 30×30. She took 30 pieces and rotated them for 30 days. 30 different outfits. I guess technically that is a “piece repeater”. Whatever.

Call me crazy, but I am attempting this challenge for the month of April. The only exception will be Easter. I will have a different Easter outfit ( I have to match my baby, okay- and we are extra). 30 pieces. 30 days. Tops, bottoms, jackets/blazers, shoes. If that wasn’t hard enough… I am adding in another layer. NO BUYING NEW PIECES FOR 30 DAYS. THIS. WILL. BE. HARD. Shopping is my weakness. That may be where I fail. Not the 30×30. We shall see.

If you are crazy enough, you should join me in this crazy challenge. I have already roped Hollie over at The Simply Singleton Blog in the 30×30 portion. I just randomly decided to throw in the no shopping part as I was typing this. If you guys just want to participate in one, but not the other- totally fine. Let me know below if you are as crazy as I am! Let’s do this! Let’s be outfit repeaters.

  1. I could probably do this mainly because I hardly go anywhere and wouldn’t have to come up with 30 days, haha. This is such a cool idea though!
