let’s be real

Hey girly’s. This post has been a long time coming. I know some people say that you don’t need to explain yourself when something comes up, but I WANT to. Blogging is so much fun, but is so much work. I absolutely LOVE doing this, and would love to be able to do this full time. However, I am not at that point in this career.

I have an eight to five that I work Monday to Friday. Normally, when I write a blog post, I write it during my lunch break or after work. Here recently, my responsibilities at my daytime job have grown. By the time that my lunch break rolls around, I just want to sit and scroll Instagram. I am sure you guys have seen on <a href=”www.instagram.com/tabathabaconblog”>Instagram</a>, we are in the process of building our dream home. So if we aren’t doing something for that after work, I am just wanting to sit down and watch a movie. Needless to say, my life is BUSY. <br />

I decided to take a small break last week. If I am completely honest, I wanted to just give up blogging all together before the break. I was overwhelmed, and playing the comparison game. I don’t have a ton of followers, and because of that, sometimes companies do not reply to my emails. But I have my OG followers (you know who you are 🙂 ) who convinced me that I was just in a rut, and things would work out. Want to know something funny? I made the decision to be completely honest and open in this post just yesterday, and today… I have established two different partnerships with companies that I love. So you could say that was a great spirit lifter! <br/>

So there was the whole truth. I may not have gotten to a black friday or cyber monday post, but I promise you good things are coming.
